Huskies offense has new looks on the field with junior QB Johnny McEntee but not very good with
24 points, 184 yards passing per game, but they have plenty to play for in this one. UConn
can become bowl eligible with a win at Cincinnati. Connecticut beat South Florida 16-10
without scoring an offensive touchdown. They only allow 22.3 ppg. Cincinnati had a high
octane offense, but they had a huge injury late in the season: Senior QB Zach Collaros (14
TDs, 8 INTs) is out for the season with a leg injury, so sophomore quarterback Munchie
Legaux is running the offense. A loss by Cincinnati would give Louisville, 5-2 in the
Big East, the title. Bearcat defense is allowing 19 ppg.This should be a physical defensive
battle with two QB's trying to minimize mistakes. Expect a safe game plan from both and

The Lions offense is 6th in the NFL. The Lions play against the Saints' high-powered
offense and this defense gave up 35 points to Carolina two weeks ago, and three weeks ago,
losing 37-13 at Chicago. The Over is 41-22-2 in the Lions last 65 games. The Saints have fast
wide outs and a wide-open spread offense, led by QB Drew Brees plus a revamped backfield
that adds Darren Sproles and rookie first round pick RB Mark Ingram. This passing offense is
No. 2 in the NFL. Think Brees is ready for the playoffs? New Orleans had a 26-23 OT win at
Atlanta two weeks ago, winning despite allowing 481 yards (138 rushing). So the Lions should be
able to move the ball on the Saints. The over is 27-10-1 in the Saints last 38 games following
an ATS win. Don’t look for either defense to play well, indoors on artificial carpet, which

North Texas

The North Texas Mean Green look for their
second win of the season as they square off with the La Sierra Golden Eagles of the NAIA
in the LMU Centennial Classic. The Mean Green have lost to Texas Tech, Texas-Arlington,
Mississippi State, and Texas. North Texas's only win came over St. Gregory's in its
opener. North Texas held its own against some top competition as it only lost to
Texas Tech by five points.
The Golden Eagles are winless against non- Division I competition as their record stands at
0-6. Even more troubling than its 0-6 record is the fact that La Sierra has lost by double
digits in every game this season.
North Texas is coming way, way down in class in this matchup and should easily get a confidence
boosting win. UNT is rightfully the overwhelming favorite in this one. The Mean Green are a
much better team and this will be like the varsity playing the JV team. Get top
